Starting on June 3, Sound Transit fare ambassadors will launch new inspection rounds in fare paid zones on and around platforms at some Link light rail stations.

BelRed combines a nascent South Lake Union, SoDo, and the International District. Spring District Station has a South Lake Union feel with tech offices emerging from a large light industrial presence. Both have some hidden gems.

Today, Sound Transit ruled out late-breaking South Lake Union station alternatives for Ballard Link. Major business lobbied hard for the late "shifted west" additions, but it wasn't enough to win over the board.

The Sound Transit Board is set to vote on betterments policy reform, limiting local jurisdictions' ability to foist costs on the agency. But some boardmembers are accusing the agency of "bullying" and are seeking to water down the proposal.

Send a letter to the Sound Transit Board to urge them to avoid delay in South Lake Union and advance the highest ridership Ballard Link light rail alignment possible.

The location of future light rail stations in South Lake Union has been the subject of intense debate among Sound Transit boardmembers. The agency's staff are officially recommending that the alignment not veer off course despite pressure from Vulcan, Amazon, and the Seattle Chamber of Commerce.

The Seattle Chamber of Commerce spend most of their time saying they shouldn’t have to pay higher taxes because the government is inefficient and wasteful. Meanwhile, they are spending a bunch of resources on trying to make the government inefficient and wasteful. South Lake Union light rail decisions are the latest example.

East Main, South Bellevue, and Wilburton Station are the clear laggards along the 2 Line where development activity has been sparse. A pending zoning update offers a lot of hope for Wilburton, a little for East Main, and none for South Bellevue.
