We’re looking forward to seeing you all at The Urbanist monthly meetup tomorrow, June 27th at 5:30pm at Stoup Capitol Hill. Stoup welcomes all-ages and has non-alcoholic options and a food truck to satisfy everyone’s needs. No RSVP needed — just bring your ideas and enthusiasm.
June is Ride Transit Month – and also our topic of conversation for this month’s meetup. With the Lynnwood Link light rail extension set to launch on August 30th and the Rapid Ride G Line kicking off on September 14th, Seattleites will have more ways that ever to get around town this summer. How will you use transit to tick off your PNW summer bucket list?
Ahead of the meetup, check out transit coverage from The Urbanist. We also encourage you to engage with other organizations doing great work surrounding transit in our region including Seattle Subway, Transportation Choices Coalition, and the Transit Riders Union.
Urbanist meetups are a great opportunity to network, learn, and share ideas with like-minded folks. Whether you’re interested in transportation, housing, public space, sustainability, equity, or even if you’re new to urbanism, we invite you to join us. We are always looking to welcome new folks. Drop by to chat with some of your favorite contributors at The Urbanist.
We hope to see you there!!
